6 Months
Project Management
We worked with FEEX Group, a mid-sized manufacturing company based in Chicago, to modernize its outdated Software as a Service (SaaS). The goal was to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve scalability. We implemented a tailored cloud-based solution to streamline their workflows, ensuring seamless data access and collaboration across multiple locations. The project spanned six months and covered planning and data migration.
FEEX Group faced significant challenges due to their reliance on legacy systems, which caused frequent downtime, data silos, and high maintenance costs. Their on-premise servers struggled to handle increasing workloads, leading to productivity losses. Additionally, remote employees faced difficulties accessing critical systems, further hampering operations. The company needed a robust, scalable solution to overcome these inefficiencies while ensuring data security and compliance with industry regulations.
The project encountered several hurdles, including resistance to change from employees accustomed to old systems. Data migration posed risks of corruption or loss, requiring meticulous planning. Ensuring minimal downtime during the transition was critical to avoid disrupting daily operations. Additionally, integrating the new cloud system with existing applications demanded custom configurations. Our team also had to address cybersecurity concerns and ensure compliance with stringent manufacturing industry standards.
We deployed a hybrid cloud solution, combining private and public clouds for flexibility and security. A phased migration approach minimises downtime, while automated backups ensure data integrity—custom APIs integrate legacy software with the new system. Comprehensive training sessions eased employee adoption, and continuous support was provided post-implementation. Enhanced security protocols, including encryption and multi-factor authentication, safeguarded sensitive data. The solution reduced operational costs by 30% and improved system reliability.
